A Quick Hat

…and a definite EB. We went to the Farmers’ Market this morning which is definitely smaller but still fun. I was hoping our metal guy would be there with something interesting for the top of the cabinet I just painted but he wasn’t there. There were plenty of beets, pickled veggies, Bok choy and, best of all, lots of wonderful baked goods to satisfy my growing sweet tooth.

I spent the rest of the day making a hat for my neighbor Janet, who is back in her home and busy replacing furniture and other necessities for everything they lost in the fire. A warm hat to keep the hair out of her eyes and her ears warm was needed as she has been working outside to replant her garden.

I took the hat over to her just in time for a glass of wine and a good chat.

It’s cold and rainy today and we’ve been holed up next to the fire. Now it’s time for us to have our farmer’s market quiche and a movie. Hope it’s better that the Glass Onion which was ok but not as good as Knives Out….comments will resume tomorrow.
