Roots

Another grey day and another walk, this time from the village up to Redgrave & Lopham Fen (another SSSI on the Norfolk/Suffolk border) today. There were dramatic shapes to be seen amidst the birch on the southern edge of the Fen, particularly this upturned stump cleared of all soil. The extra shows a view out across the main Fen, again from the southern path.
