Shell

I had a lovely day out with a good friend today - we headed to Aberlady Bay and had lunch in nearby Gullane - where due to getting lukewarm tea, we ended up with free cakes!  We then had a nice wander through the nature reserve which let us enjoy two shared interests - photography and bird watching.  Lots of interesting birds, Little Egrets, Teal, Shelduck, Sanderlings, to name a few.  We also wandered along a bit of a blowy, shell strewn beach. Hence the photo! We finished the day by wandering over a nearby archaeological site.  Good day out and great company.
