Cycling Saturday – POG’s Rambling.

Hi Everyone,

We had a good night at the coaching session at the track last night… four of the older gentlemen from the Portsmouth CC (PCC) with doing through and off and it was really evident that they had many years of cycling under their belt by the way they could follow a wheel. It was also evident that they also had many years of eating pies always under their belts – lol.

This morning I drove over to Lee-on-Solent and meet the guys when they stopped for a café break. It was hardly worth it but I am trying to create some sort of momentum. Obviously when the warmer weather arrives the fair-weather cyclist will come out.

The new PCC clothing samples arrived, and they look nice, they make them in modern fabrics and the retro ones. We should place an order for it in a week or two. This will also help recreate the team spirit stuff with all the guys in the same kit.

A very old Brooklyn Team cycling jersey from many moons ago. I can now fit back into this which is quite nice. They make replicas of these nowadays.
