Our cruise took an unexpected turn on Thursday......we were headed on shore and docked at Fort Lauderdale instead of continuing to head north for Port Canaveral!  We didn't know what was going on but earlier,  there was an alert on board the ship, Bright Star, and then gave a cabin number.  Apparently that's like a 911 call, and getting medical personnel to the cabin asap.  We later learned a passenger had had either a heart attack or a stroke and was being taking off the ship in Fort Lauderdale, the closest port that could accomodate the ship.  There were EMTs on the dock when we arrived and the man and his family were taken off the ship.  The passenger was sitting upright on the gurney, so that was a good sign.  
That evening while getting ready for dinner, I took the extra shot.  Really liked seeing the lights in the water and the color on the horizon.  :)
