CHIP OFF THE OLD FLOOR

I observed this city gull as he perched on a ledge below, eyeing up something to eat.
He waited until the coast was clear, then flew down to collect his booty.
I think it was a chip or some such and his beak was clamped firmly around it as he took off, seconds after this.
