Outsider Art

Rhonda, Joe and I traveled into Portland to see an exhibit on loan from the Museum of American Folk Art in NYC.  We braved the cold although it really wasn't too bad, unlike this morning which is -17F at the Back Porch Cafe.  The worked spanned 250 years and was stunning.  I visited the NYC museum 30 years ago and it was great to see some of its collection again.  The Victorian crazy quilt and the carved wooden tiger were my favorite pieces and I've added them in the extras.  Today I will retreat to my cozy studio and work on my latest altered book project.  Much warmer temperatures tomorrow.
