I love this photo

I had a few photos to choose from for today but I kept coming back to this one,

My great niece K was only on the Earth for 19 years . We did not know at the time of this photo that she had a degenerative disease. 

She is laughing with her whole being in this photo and I love it. What is so special is she continued to laugh throughout her life. She would truely light up everyone’s life. She taught us all including many doctors and researchers many lessons throughout her short but very precious life. 

Everyone was special to her and she was special to all who met her. She would take their hand, and often move them away from others and talk to them in her soft voice. The recipient felt special. 

Her speech became less and less and she became bedridden but still managed to show elation when ever anyone came to see her. 

I do not feel sad when I think of K but smile with gratitude.

The extra is a little later in life.
