Headhunted Hydrangeas!
I’ve just given myself a good talking to and told myself that’s it’s high time that I go back on the “Blip Wagon” and started posting again. I could make all sorts of excuses but I won’t bore any blip buddies that are still talking to me with them. I’m very happy to say that Mauzee has been quite active and kept me up to date with lots of news.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been head hunting Hydrangeas to put in the vases so that the house looks very happy when we have inspections. I’m trying not to stretch the friendship with my Blackheath buddies who have Hydrangeas and fortunately for me there are many :). They look absolutely fabulous in the living room, particularly against the Galvanised Iron wall in the kitchen. I have to say that after roses and Waratahs they are without a doubt one of my favourite flowers. I can honestly say, hand on heart that I never sneak around in the middle of the night to pick them. I just wouldn’t be able to enjoy them if I knew they were stolen property. This lovely bunch came from one of my golfing friends who very kindly gave me permission to pick some yesterday. I threw in a few Agapanthus as well and as I sit here typing my first blip in quite a few weeks, those flowers are smiling at me. :0)
Now I’m going to step number two and heading over to see what you’ve all been up to while I’ve been on another sabbatical!
PS - You may be wondering what the unusual looking wooden instrument is attaching itself to the iron wall. It’s the present that you give someone when you have no idea what to give them. Well that’s what my good friend Sue told me when she gave it to me for my birthday a few years ago.
