Parsnips

Have had rather a busy day, with two appointments, one being to get my hair done as it had been cancelled on Wednesday.  And then we had the food shopping to do,  so we seemed to be out all the day.  

Bob was home in the morning as we had a donation to go to the local Hospice and it was collected this morning.

While he was here he lifted the remains of the parsnips from the ground.  He also very kindly washed them all for me to process!  So I have combined them with the veggies in the fridge, and some leeks which I bought today, and some pulses, and put it all in the slow cooker, it should make a good soup by tomorrow.
