Morning Sky

Back to work today, so my day started with my usual walk. I was a little later than I should have been, but thankfully BB was getting ready for school when I got back.  My day was pretty much back to back Teams calls.  Teams nightmare!
 
In amongst all that I spotted a message on my phone letting me know that a friend had died.  He has been in hospital for a  long time, and I heard just last week that things had taken a turn for the worse, which seemed quite unexpected.  Very sad.  I shared the news with BB when he returned from school and we had a hug.  I was exhausted by the end of my working day, so thankfully I had a fairly easy tea just ready to be thrown together.  It went down well.
 
I had a late walk in the dark to get my daily steps, as I had sat at my laptop all day and hardly moved.
 
BB has to fast from midnight, ahead of going into hospital tomorrow,  so around 11pm he had a pre-midnight feast.  He scavenged around the kitchen.  I saw him eat crisps, an apple, a banana, oatcakes, a toasted bagel and there may have been more!
 
The sky put on a good show this morning.  Before this red sky, there was the faintest nacreous clouds (at least I think they were) – see not very good extra.
