These daffs are tucked away in a NE facing corner that I struggle to grow anything in. I'm considering putting a small 'water feature' in there this year so I may need to relocate them.

Stuck at home due to (another) strike on the railways today I managed to get quite a bit done, including my EoY review. My people (line) manager is particularly useless so I easily got him to agree I'd had a good year (I have, it wasn't that controversial). Not that it makes much difference as we have a pay freeze at the moment but it made me feel much better.

Himself and I stopped at 5pm and went up to our second favourite (ie it's further away) local for a Friday beer. It was pleasantly busy - not always guaranteed - and a nice way to end a long week, and month (January, not the three days of February we've had so far).
