The boiler was serviced today – there’s romance for you.  An overcast day but at least the wind has gone down which bodes well for tonight’s crossing to Flotta.  There was even a blink of light before sundown.  There may be a touch of Eva Three Step tonight.  Rest assured there’ll no be attempting it in Albuquerque. 


Went along to see Davie.  He has to go down to Aberdeen soon to undergo a treatment which will ascertain his next six months.  He always puts a positive twist on things.  He said with the gradual collapse of his skeletal structure he should be having a lot of pain.  He said, verbatim, ‘Thankfully the paralysis takes care of that.’
