How time consuming is painting windows? I tell you. Very time consuming - and that's just doing a half-arsed job. This is the son's now empty bedroom (though he left his best guitar). And I spent a considerable amount of time removing the constellation of blu-tack from the walls.
After that, I needed a step out - down to the Filmhouse to see 'Mud', which was pretty good. I thought the shoot out was a bit OTT and fantastical, but the two boys were great and the magical setting was, well, magical.
