Nature Diary...Winter time slipping away...

But Oh, Oh! those summer days!

How inspiring it was this morning to see a well-recognized local boat  speeding its way backwards and forwards across the sea, for the first time this year I believe! 

Now that beats my recent optimistic suggestion of checking the condition of the garden furniture in preparation for the summer... checking the condition of a boat!

Personally I'd prefer to be checking out on our own boat, but the only one now remaining is in the form of a small model yacht on a shelf, happily reminding us of bygone adventures aboard the yacht 'Libra'.
