Big Winter Sky

Today followed almost exactly the same pattern as yesterday - grey and fairly gloomy until the sun reappeared in the middle of the afternoon.
So again I grabbed my camera and headed out to get a shot whilst the light was still good. 
My walk was even shorter then yesterday - I only got as far as Ferryfields (one of our local recreation grounds) - and I wasn't seeing anything blipworthy. Then I just turned round (always a good idea to look in more than one direction when you're trying to get an image!) and was greeted by this rather spectacular big winter sky.
