More bugs

A little quiet on the Forest School front this week with SATs going on in school. However, escaped outdoors this afternoon. One group were working on their Lost Garden project making spots for their ladybird out of cement, making legs and planting up with flower seed. Then we had one of those special moments. Standing under the oak tree we heard baby blue tits calling from the bird box in the tree. After the children had gone the parents could be seen busily flying to and from the box. And the last group of the day were out excitedly hunting for bugs as part of their woodland project. Ans all in warm sunshine. What a treat!
