Amandine's Plot Treize

Chamomile ground cover

Last summer,  I grew chamomile from seed to have a tougher, easier-to-maintain, drought-resistant ground cover for some of my internal paths.

Just before Christmas, I divided and moved a few plants to this new path, which I then covered with a thin woodchip mulch.

Then the heavy rains and the cold spell happened. I wasn't optimistic about the newly-transplanted chamomile so it's wonderful to see green shoots pushing through the mulch of the path between my asparagus and artichoke beds!
