I liked the way the light was shining this morning when I looked out the window shortly before I left for work. I decided to take a photo then because I knew I wouldn't have much chance to take any other photos today, not unless I used one that I had to take for the job we did today.
Everything went smoothly. We were actually finished by 5 pm, at least an hour earlier than other years. M started working with me in the fall, and I asked her if she wanted to help with relines, so she got hired, It was good to see her. She doesn't have any experience, but I think she will do alright with it. J has been working with me on relines for several years and it's the only time we see each other. When she started, she had no experience, but she picked it up right away. Her and I are very much in sync when we work side by side. One of the other reps was available to help today too, plus my manager and her husband made up the team of 6.
When I accepted the extra jobs this week, 2 of them are at a store that I already had to go to next week. Now I realize that if I try to do all 5 of the assignments in one day, it will be a 10 hour day, and I don't like working 10 hour days. I am going to email my manager and tell her that I want to do 2 of them tomorrow and the other 3 will get done on Tuesday.
Not looking forward to the cold weather on Saturday.
