Enjoying being back on the island. Wearing my fairisle vest feels appropriate. I drink a lot of coffee and I’ve been smoking too much. But it allows me to pause for a minute and look out.

We’re back to our routine. Porridge in the morning. A trip to The Bay Stores to get more coffee at lunch. I like it.

Not enough time to think about what we’re doing with our lives, which I suppose is a good thing. C taught me to imagine my future self looking back at this time in my life. I can already imagine feeling nostalgic about it.

Excited to pick up the local Friday paper tomorrow. We might be in it.
