I'll Pass on that....

After we checked out we decided to have a road trip to Wast Water. I drove back up in to Little Langdale and headed over Wrynose and Hardnott passes. I thought Wrynose was spelt Rhinos, till I was about 13!
It was fun, even though we were up in the clouds over the tops.

Wast Water was majestic, very cold and it was raining hard. See first extra.

The Kirkstyle Inn between Loweswater and Crummock (second extra) was a good choice for a lunch stop. I had steak and ale pie, Tom had a vegan version of spaghetti carbonara. Both meals were very good.

I headed off along Crummock Water and through Buttermere village deciding to take the Newlands route instead of the Honister one. 
Tom fell asleep, waking as I'd parked on the drive at home.
