After dark

It has been a very long day! First trip, Nottingham to Leeds with 40 minutes of delays on the motorways and on roads where we turned off to avoid delays, we were stuck whichever way we turned. A quick turn around for me and then back over the Pennines, with a further 25 minute delay. 

I went straight to meet a friend for a late lunch. She is acting as "consultant" for my study leave, helping me to reflect. It might have been a late lunch to start with but it extended until dusk, we talked for a long time and it was all very helpful but also mentally draining. 

I took this when I returned to my car. It was hand held on the phone and I couldn't see as much as this in the dark. The phone does incredibly well but obviously the quality isn't there. 

I then had a long drive home, stuck in rush hour traffic. Finally arrive home 10.5 hours after setting off this morning.
