Pooped

Night-time garden wees,
car journeys, new garden sniffs
and training session.

Ben slept really well and Leo did better too, although he still woke at around 4am and then 5:15am.  I'm definitely starting to feel the extra disturbances in the night now.  Yawn.
Today I went over to my mum's as she had organised a dog trainer friend to do a session with us, we had to take Ben to school and then set straight off.  On the way I popped into Pets at Home to pick up some more dog food and treats.  It's also a good place to use as socialisation for Leo as there aren't that many shops that will let me bring him inside.  He was in the sling and I was kind of chattering away to him, I got to the till and the cashier was talking me through which vouchers I could use from their membership app but my phone was in my pocket.  I was looking for it and struggled to find it, eventually I realised it was in the pocket underneath where Leo was leaning in the sling, so I said, "Oh I'm sorry sausage, it's under here" and then I moved Leo a bit to reach and fetch it.  I then had a couple of minutes trying to get the right voucher with the cashier before he said, "Oh, you have a dog there, I didn't see him!!"  And then he made a fuss of Leo.  We bought the stuff and left... and then I realised, who did he think I was calling sausage when I was looking for my phone :-D ?? I'm not sure I can go back to that branch again!
We did make it to my mum's and to the dog trainer, she was amazing, really positive and helpful.  I learned a lot and enjoyed both general tips and hints as well as little training bits, she was teaching me to get him to come to my hand and it worked really well :-) She was also reassuring with the toilet training and sleeping, so I do feel positive that we will get there with everything.
Ben had a good day at school, we fetched him and there was no drama.  I'm quite positive about this medication change, it is definitely working well so far (fingers crossed).  
When we got home I showed Mr KCNQ2Haiku the training for Leo coming to our hands and it was encouraging that it still worked!  
Overall, it's been a good (if tiring) day.
