Today Was a Good Day

My sister came over for the day and our friend, Diane, joined us for coffee, retail therapy and a lovely lunch. We had the dining room of a nice hotel all to ourselves and really enjoyed our meal.
The boy from Santander rang me three times. At last, after waiting a month, they have given me the money they actually ‘lost’. He tried to explain the farce and told me how complicated it had been to sort out!!Suffice to say, after over 40 years, I shall be taking every penny elsewhere!
