Dunnock

Mostly full-on grey today, but a few bright rents in the clouds this morning, one of which landed on this hilariously grumpy-looking dunnock, who was trying to beak up breakfast from the track.  Actually, since I've been watching the reserve flooding gradually trickle away I've noticed a lot of small birds finding food on the paths.  Maybe tasty morsels are being left behind by the floodwater.

Good camouflage too, don't you think?

After that it was taking Hazel for a run in the park and a quick trip into town to visit the chemist for you-know-what  ;))
