Water and robots

I like to stand and stare at this stone wall and wonder how many years it has stood there, coping with all that water, today on both sides. The water level is high this afternoon with the burns hurtling towards the Loch. A wet walk.

Extra: I set off Hector the vacuum robot after lighting the fire this morning, I tend to be easily side tracked and started doing a few jobs which included blending a juice, a noisy job in the trusty old kenwood liquidiser. Hector escaped into the hallway which was fine until I remembered the mouse remains I was due to pick up. Why or why didn’t I do this before lighting the fire. Hector found them and was in need of an overhaul, all before breakfast. Fortunately he is easy to dismantle and clean, John thought we should replace a few parts as well, new brushes and a filter. Now he looks as good as new, nearly.

I have never seen one of our cats taking a ride on him.
