windy memorial for Ed

We are having a few days of early winter in the middle of summer. Too wet and windy to go out for a walk with the camera, so I went out with the car  and then found this roadside memorial. I would have driven past this spot a hundred times, but the wind made the little red flag attached to the cross flap about and it caught my eye. The young lad would have been about 21.
