Tango

Enjoyed walking around the local area of Recoleta - bustling, beautiful buildings right next to derelict places. This is certainly a city of contrasts.

We got advice from the hotel concierge about a dinner & tango show (we’d enjoyed one years ago at Cafe Tortoni) - not sure what happened but when we got there, the price was double what he advised. It was going to be very expensive so decided it would be tang-no!

It seems that there are different official & unofficial exchange rates - he assumed we’d used the unofficial one.

Found some dinner, got back to the hotel to find a chilled bottle of fizz, very nice gesture.
