Today I was planning on a little historical blip. My travels took me to Les Vardes farm hotel. The object which I'd read about, a quern, was supposed to be mounted on the gate post. However the publication appears to be out of date as there was no sign of this quern and the farm is no longer a hotel. A quern by the way is a stone used for grinding corn.
I had to make do with this blip from across the road in Port Grat bay.
