Another Day on the Ward

Another day, another drive over to Oxford. Luckily it’s a lovely drive and I get to listen to more of Strike on Audible which is a treat.
Mum seemed well - she even manage to walk across to the loo which is so much better than the commode.
It was quite an expensive day - if mum was in longer term I’d have to wean myself off the M&S habit! Tea, iced spiced buns, more tea, a meal deal for dinner, more tea!
Home in time for Fat Club which wasn’t a triumph (perhaps because of all the tea and iced spiced buns!!)
Then an early night while Mr K got on with painting Miss L’s room. She’s chosen grey and I was worried it’s look a bit prison celly but actually it’s nice.
