Up in the mountains

We should have met a couple and good friends who live in Bergen on the west coast, to celebrate our common wedding day Feb.1st.1975, 48 years ago. We should have met at their winter place at Geilo in the Hallingdal valley. Yesterday they called us. The old groom had become ill. They couldn’t meet. Mrs B and I checked around. We booked a place at Hafjell in the Gudbrandsdal valley. We arrived there in the afternoon. We got a lovely ski trip before a shover and dinner at the nice hotel we are staying in.
