Approaching the chapel

We drove down to Castelnou to begin our walk. The circuit took us up to the chapel of Sant Martí de la Roca where we are our lunch with fine views to the coast and a different view of Canigou. In all there was about 450 metres of climbing and 12 kilometres of walking. The temperature climbed aggressively during the morning and there were periodic stops to shed layers of clothing!
