My first strike
My first protest. 

Hoping that the government sit up and take note. More needs to be invested in education to protect children's futures. 
A pay rise should not be funded from an already overstretched budget. 
My colleagues should not have to take in lodgers to afford their mortgages. 
TAs should not have to go hungry because they can't afford to eat. 
Teachers should not have to work 60+ hours a week, including every Sunday, and still not be able to get everything done. 

Work-life balance needs to improve to retain teachers. Something needs to change and soon. It's not just the NHS that's broken.
