Grey Heron

The Aggressive female and the new male heron were at the dovecote today however a dog scared them and they flew on a bit. I followed them over and started feeding them. They had a bit of a fracas which would almost have been beautiful had it not been aggressive - it was more show and screeching than violent. The female won! I made my way round the path and fed the passive female then the regular male and another youngster who showed up. Then made my way home feeding the crows as I went!
