Ladies Who Lunch And Lunch Again

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I had another busy day at Kiwibank. If no-one else can make a decision, I will channel my inner Shenée and act decisively on their behalf. This goes up to and includes making decisions on how banks work because no-one else seems to know.

Kiwibank customers should be worried.

Although I have been emulating Shenée, I have not yet made the "EEEEEE!!!" noise or told anyone that they're a little bit cute.

I might break that out later.

We'll see how this goes.

But my highlight of the day was lunch at Cornercopia with Jess and Briar and Fazl-

Oh wait, I'm being told that Fazlyn wants chips from Macdonalds.

So my highlight of the day was my TWO lunches; one at Cornercopia and then Macdonalds with Jess and Briar and Fazlyn.

The three of them make me laugh, especially Fazzy who gave me sh*t as always for a multitude of reasons. We were talking about her infamous Fazzy eye roll.

"You do that a lot, I notice," I said. "It's like a nervous tic. Maybe you should go and see the doctor."

"I did. He advised I keep a log of when it happens," she replied. "It turns out there's a pattern. Of comments from you."

"You two are ADORABLE," said Jess.

The Symon/Fazzy dynamic amuses everyone, it seems.

Then I tried to take a group photo for Blip. At the key moment, Fazzy called out "eye roll!" Hence the reaction in this picture.

As for Briar, I bought her a kitten plushie. I was early to Cornercopia and it was right next to the plushie store, so this small gesture helped kill time.

But I had a reason for the plushie. It is to help Briar get through her blood test, or "stabbing" as she puts it.

"You can squeeze Stabby the Kitten to help distract you from the experience," I told her.

You can see Stabby the Kitten sitting on the table in front of Briar. Stabby is that yellow thing that sort of looks like a MacMuffin, but is not.

Briar seemed dubious and was resistant at first, but now has embraced "Stabatha" wholeheartedly. I don't actually know if it will help. But who knows? Maybe I'm like this super-genius?

Eye-roll.

S.

p.s. Oh, and we have all fallen in love with Brenda Put Your Bra On. Briar insisted I convert it into a meme so we can send it out as an alert when something juicy is about to happen.

"Jerry got into a fight with Andy! Brenda put your bra on!"

Like that.
