Basin

We've lived in our house for over 14 years.  Many of the original taps are now worn out.

This one, you can turn it on but you're actually unscrewing the barrel rather than opening the valve.  Another drips, which should be fixable with a new washer but isn't because the valves are seized in, which is the exact opposite problem.  On another the mechanical fixing has sheered so it now just wobbles about.  Our utility room tap is missing a part of the nozzle so water splashes everywhere.  The bath tap both drips (and valve assembly is seized) and the shower switch doesn't work properly.

Hopefully a plumber is coming tomorrow to replace them all.  This will be the most challenging as he will have to try and work through the small access hatch surrounded by razor-sharp screws...  He may end up having to disassemble the plinth if he can't get in properly, so this could look very different tomorrow.  Fingers crossed...
