Old floor joists

These are the floor joists from our extension. When it was taken apart to be rebuilt we saved them from going to the municipal dump. Some of them are damaged and will need trimming but for some garden projects we'll be able to use them for something. They were originally piled up closer to the wall, but the builders needed access to build the bike shed so they were moved again to be here.

Odd sort of week we have our Christmas party for work on Wednesday, but it's a ~3 hour train ride away, and today I discovered I have to give a 30 minute presentation as to what I do. At least that will keep me busy on the train...
