A fresh breeze

And quite a bit of rain for our Go4 walk from Drumpelier to Hogganfield. We sat having our lunch in Auchlea park for about 30 seconds before deciding to repair to M&S in the Fort shopping centre. V did a great job of surreptitiously eating a picnic pie out of her hat. The rest of us were not so bold and we had coffee and spicy iced buns, a third of one each.
By 3pm the wind had stopped gusting and the water at Hogganfield  looked very different to the choppy Lochend at the beginning of the walk. I was pleased to blip a couple of whooper swans with daffodil bills in amongst the mute swans and coots.
Delighted that my local MSP’s constituency office managed to get me a ticket for this Thursdays FMQ. I hope it’s a lively session.
