Caldbeck

We drove over to Caldbeck this afternoon…pretty coloured cottages by the beck.

Masses of snowdrops in the churchyard and on the riverbank too. ( see extra photo )

We stopped at Mae’s tearooms in Uldale for Cullen Skink and cheese scones…delicious!

We played golf early this morning. It was blowing a hoolie! Then the hail started! It was really painful!!!

Then our hands felt like ice…even with Winter gloves on.

So, once in a lifetime, we walked in! The hot chocolate in the clubhouse went down a treat!
