Old and new

Popped through to Bradford today to collect my new jacket. Had a browse in The Broadway and then Waterstones in the Wool Exchange (main blip). I meant to use a giftcard to treat myself to a new book but realised as I headed to the checkout that I'd left it at home - what a doilum! Added an extra - the contrasting architecture of The Broadway.

Used a Superdrug giftcard I've had for a while to buy some perfume in the sale - there was more on the card than I realised so it didn't cost me anything :-) Successful shopping trip apart from coming home bookless. I was about to buy The House With Chicken Legs but they have it in the library so will get it from there and treat myself to something else next time I venture into Bradford... maybe a book of poetry.
