So many shades of brown

Well that's what I liked about this blip anyway.

Got up early to take advantage of what was supposed to be a lovely morning in the reserve.  It wasn't!  The clouds refused to lift so the sun was hidden and the light pretty grim.  Which meant I had to go out a second time, just around the green this afternoon, with a squirrel as my most likely blip for today.  S/he's eating one of the many sweet chestnuts that got carefully buried in the autumn.  Pretty cute I reckon.

And it's now 5pm and still light.  The year is definitely turning.
