Trying to Love Mono

So far, it's not working. I still don't love mono. I've included the coloured version in the extra taken on my walk mid-afternoon.  I'm thinking that the mottled sky doesn't allow the poplar trees to shine in their own right (like on the coloured version).

I think I need to go downtown and look for some archictecture... let's hope for a sunny day to create some interesting contrasts!

I will tag this for Mono Monday because the challenge is High and/or Low. These poplar trees certainly rise high in the sky.
