City of Stanley

Today we spent the morning in Stanley, capital of the Falklands.
Staunchly british, full of history but yet looked so familiar - there was a garden full of gnomes and a Waitrose section in the supermarket.

The museum was wonderful - history, nature, culture - and lots of interesting monuments, shipwrecks and naval artefacts around the town.

Our final stop in the trip ... back to sea tonight for the final stretch back to Ushuaia.
