Early

It was an early start this morning. I didn't sleep well, partly I'm sure, because I knew I had to get up early. I had an appointment with the dentist which meant a smarter than usual start to the day. The reward was seeing the lovely morning light. That's the river you can see bottom left.

Just as I was getting ready to leave the house the dental surgery 'phoned. My dentist had woken up feeling unwell and wasn't going to make it. Well drat for him but also for me! I'll maybe see him later in the week. It isn't urgent.

Now I'm waiting for my grandson to arrive. He didn't stay over last night though he wavered when he said cheerio to Flora. Another time and soon I hope.
