I stepped out before 7 to catch this bit of colour. The shaggy palms at the end of my street are often in my photos. 

The lantana blooming beside the awning look a little dried out. I like the colour combination. 

Yesterday, at the art show, there was a silent auction as a fundraiser for the association. This beautiful pastel of a desert landscape has come to live with me. It was created by several artists who each added their touch during a meeting programme. What a clever idea!
