All Change
We were both startled to learn a few days ago that J would be moving hospitals when a bed became available. That happened yesterday and she was taken to the new hospital early evening. I followed on using my phone sat nav - all very confusing in the dark.
So it was good to go today in the light. The hospital is only ten years old, and well integrated - a complete contrast to Warrington. It’s further away from home, the visiting times are tighter, but I’ll get used to the journey. And somewhere I cross a distinctive linguistic divide - from the Lancashire accents of this part of the North West to Liverpudlian, Johny Vegas to Ken Dodd.
J will be at this hospital for a few weeks. It’s a part of the world I don’t know, so I will have to do some exploring around my visits.
