Big Garden Birdwatch

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch weekend and again some poor weather just dull, grey all day Saturday and today Sunday.

This is my one hour summary 8:30-9:30 turned out to be a good decision the early birdwatcher got the Goldcrest. In truth it was low numbers of the common birds and many possibles missing feeding elsewhere.

Enjoyed FA Cup Wrexham 3 Sheffield United 3 on TV this afternoon actually missed the very late in the game Sheffield United equaliser but from the kitchen the lack of home crowd cheers at the end was a clue so I did a Rewind to see that goal. A replay must favour Sheffield.

I missed Brighton 2 v Liverpool 1 at lunchtime !

Watching Digging for Britain for a history lesson before VERA and Happy Valley being recorded.  The Anarchy- 12th century post Henry the First chaos and the Anglo Dutch war prove I am short of historic knowledge.
