Carrieira Granda / Grande rue

This used to be the main street of the village, and cars still use it sometimes. After a busy morning in Pézenas, at the printer's, the framer's and buying photo paper and ink (the only necessities that force me to a supermarket rather than the village shop), I realised I hadn't taken any photos and that the grey day would make it easier to take some of the narrow streets where the contrast between light and shade makes it difficult usually. It was just after lunch, siesta time, so there was no one about, but there was a black cat on a doorstep - does this make it lucky?
