A Grey Day

................ a bit of a walk around a couple of fields, just for some fresh air and exercise really as there wasn’t any wildlife out and about to see.

I’m trying to find the enthusiasm to start sorting out and disposing of all the stuff that is surplus to requirements and just clutters up the place. We seem to have accumulated rather a lot of things that were presumably a good idea at the time we acquired them but they then got shoved in the back of a cupboard or other hidy holes and totally forgotten about.
I made a very small start today by sorting through a basket that sits on my sideboard where I put very small items that I’m sure I’ll find useful at some point - predictably, I found things I didn’t remember I had but also found quite a few packs of things - like safety pins, press studs, paper clips etc, that I probably only needed one or two of but could only buy a pack with a couple of dozen in.
That’s not too bad when the items are quite small but quite a lot of my larger clutter items are remainders of larger packs that I didn’t need at the time ......... but you never know when you might need one in the future, lol - I think I’m a lost cause ;-)))
