Peace and quiet

Such a damp and drizzly day, but now, this evening, it is beautiful, flat calm and still. Unfortunately I had already planned a walk on the beach with a friend for early afternoon and we got well and truly soaked! Ollie was in and out of the sea and got thoroughly wet and sandy and had a great time too. Lots of terns on the beach too - and a scrape in the sand with three eggs in it too. How any eggs survive the walkers, tourists, dogs, galloping ponies, not to mention the rats and gulls, I don't know!
